BMW Motorrad Unveils 2024 R 12 and R 12 nineT

Have you ever felt like November 2023 was a distant memory? That's when BMW Motorrad first revealed the 2024 R 12 and R 12 nineT. Time can feel like it's dragging on, especially if you're eagerly anticipating the release of these bikes.

The R 12 nineT puts a modern twist on a classic favorite, while the R 12 is a new addition to BMW's lineup. It fits nicely alongside the R 18 series but stands out with its unique engine shared with the R 12 nineT.

European pricing details were released shortly after the initial announcement, with slight variations across different countries. We've calculated and converted these prices for you.

Based on the European prices, we made an estimate for the US market. Now, the official US pricing has been revealed.

On February 29, 2024, BMW announced that the 2024 R 12 will start at $12,345, while the R 12 nineT will start at $16,295 in the US. This is slightly lower than our predicted price of $16,500 back in November 2023. The increase from the previous R nineT model's starting price of $15,945 seems minimal.
